Telde is located in the eastern part of the island of Gran Canaria, 16 km from the capital city of Las Palmas and 4 km from the nearest coast. Telde is a municipality and the oldest and first capital of the island, built around its historical church, San Juan Bautista de Telde. Telde has over 100 archaeological sites which increase each year. The town itself is picturesque with many fine examples of ancient architecture.
Telde has many wonderful, interesting places to explore due to its diverse landscapes, it also reaches the sea with spectacular cliffs and ground lava beaches over its 10 km of coastline, many villages offering fine examples of its fishing history and traditions.

Our view on Telde
Telde is a fabulous destination to rent a villa all year round with its perfect climate. With a vast array of different things to do, as well as being the perfect place to relax in stunning nature. There are a wonderful choice of resturants for dining out where you can try a large variety of traditional dishes, tapas and delicious pastries and confectionery made in the surrounding villages.
