San Nicolas de Tolentino is located on the furtherest western point of the island of Gran Canaria, 38 km from the capital city of Las Palmas. San Nicolas de Tolentino stretches from the coast to inland and has a small town built around its parish church, Igesia de San Nicolas. It has a diverse and dramatic landscape, a wild terrain of lush green valley's and criss-cross ravines, to it's rocky coastline with beautiful beaches and small coves. Due to the islands excellent climatic conditions, the beaches are used all year round.

San Nicolas de Tolentino has many wonderful, interesting places to explore like Cactualdea, cacti park which has thousands of different cacti from all over the world. It's a main agricutural area of many fruits, mainly tomatos and you will find cosy traditional restaurants serving typical canarian dishes.
