Dimora delle Camelie lies in the hamlet of Sant’Andrea di Compito, where time seems to have stopped at our grandfather’s era. The village is known for its Medieval charm and for an annual display of Camellias trees, which have been imported at the time oft he local trades with Japan in the early 1800s.
Stroll everyday along the medieval streets at sunrise or at sunset, discover villas that are hundreds of years old, small springs and creeks running through (and under) the village, beautiful stone walls, pretty houses, farms, orchards, old wells, olive groves and, throughout the village beautiful and antique Camellias in flower. Each of the 4 bedroom suites features a double-size bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom. Doors to the gardens allow the rooms to fill with fresh breezes, while air conditioning keeps you comfortable in the summer months.
The villa is an easy drive from the Lucca Old Town and from the highway junction of Lucca Est, as well as the Pisa Airport and town. The Tuscan countryside is dotted with other nearby gems, including San Gimignano, Volterra, Lajatico, Pisa, Versilia and Cinque Ter-re.

Owner and his wife lives in the hayoft opening to the garden, so they are neighbours. Garden is shared. Car parking located in 1 or 2 min walk away from the house. The house gate is only reachable on foot from the nearby parking. Air conditioning is in each bedroom but not in the ground floor living area.
