Walchsee is the main village on Lake Walchsee in the northern part of the Austrian Tyrol on the Germany border and just 18 km from the city of Kufstein. It is a very popular holiday destination and has been attracting tourists for generations.
The attraction is the lake's pristine waters with an average year round temperature of 24 degrees, watersports and the location. You can ski in the winter or use Walchsee as a base for hiking in the Kaiser mountains during the summer - everything you could want to do is on your doorstep.

Our view on Walchsee
We think Walchsee is a beautiful lakeside village, tranquil and relaxing and yet packed with activities to enjoy throughout the year. A great spot to use as a base for exploring the other wonderful valleys, lakes and mountains of the Kaiserwinkl area and an ideal location for family holidays.
