Tiuccia is a small seaside resort in southern Corsica, located in the picturesque town of Casaglione. It is family oriented and offers many activities and beautiful beaches which lie in the Gulf of Liscia. The beaches are a haven of peace and unspoilt nature, and are lapped by turquoise waters. Liamone Beach is the most popular and its sandy shores stretch for several kilometres. The stunning Liscia Beach is less than 5 kilometres away and has an idylic stretch of sand which opens on to the Valley of Cinarca.
Tiuccia is steeped in history, and you can discover the ruins of ancient Genoese fortifications, the Capigliolu tower dating from the 16th century, and a fort built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Surrounding Tuiccia are other quaint villages as well as traditional hilltop hamlets where you will be seduced by the houses with typical Corsican architecture. Renno is the highest in Corsica and Rezza is a very friendly typical Corsican village and offers many orientation and discovery courses.
