How to get to Taormina

Airport Transfers

The closest airport to Taormina is Catania Fontanarossa International Airport which is just 66kms from the city. You can get an airport transfer straight from the airport.

By Train

Unfortunately, the airport at Catania does not have a train station. However, its only a 10 minute transfer to the station in Catania where you can catch a train to Taormina-Giardina.

By Bus

The buses leave the airport every 20 minutes and are outside the arrivals area. The service runs from 5am to midnight and tickets can be bought from the Exchange Office/Bus Ticket Office in the Arrivals Hall.
