Sineu is an authentic town located right in the centre of the island of Mallorca. With a population of 4000 inhabitants who live all year round this is a real town and not so much of a tourist destination however it is popular with people looking for the real Mallorca, a lot of people come here every Wednesday for the excellent market which is bustling and has great produce on offer.

Sineu is a rural town inland from the coast and beaches so a holiday here is to soak in the real Mallorca with its markets and authentic restaurants and bars.

Nightlife in Sineu

Sineu is a tranquil town with lots of history and is not a party town, it does however have loads of nice restaurants and bars dotted around particularly around the central square - Placa des Fossar.

Sineu beaches

This is a very old town dating back to Roman times which once was fairly powerful due to its central location in Mallorca. There is even an impressive Palace that was built to house the rulers of old, this Palace is now a convent called Convent de la Conceptio and is worth a visit. There are no beaches here however being located on a main transport route, it is easy to get to the coast and the numerous stunning beaches that this island has to offer.
