Rovinj holidays, Istria Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes to rent in Rovinj

Rovinj more than deserves it's reputation as the pearl if the Istrian peninsula. The peaceful, tree-lined beaches, welcoming old town bars and beautiful Venetian buildings make this a gem of a location to visit on a Croatian holiday. Known as Lone Bay, the coastline is a combination of small shingle beaches and coves a pleasant 15 minute walk from the town with quaint artist workshops, great restaurants and sophisticated bars dotted throughout the medieval cobbled streets on the way to the waterside. A further 15 minutes brings you to Montauro Cape which lacks the beaches but makes up for it with beautiful views through the forest and over the Rovinj Archipelago.

Our view on Rovinj

Rovinj is an architypal Croatian city, steeped in history from Bronze Age, Romans and Venetian Empire with much of the architecture surviving from the latter. Rovinj fills it's small peninsula and is surrounded by the Adriatic with any number of small shingle beaches making up the larger Lone Bay, perfect for beach hopping. Similar to much of Croatia, the food is incredible, we recommend the fish and seafood, with restaurants dotted along the cobbled streets on the way to and from the beaches. Close to the town are any number of spectacular natural wonders including Lim Fjord, Punte Corrente and Brijuni National Park.Renting a villa or apartment in Rovinj is the best way to experience the city and local beaches and are ideal for for families, friends and groups. They provide the space, freedom and flexibility to do what you want, when you want - home from home.
