Roquebrune Sur Argens is a medieval village with a history dating back a thousand years. It is typical of the fortified Provencal villages along the coast of Provence with narrow winding cobbled streets and cafes and restaurants that line the pavements. The Rocher de Roquebrune, which rises upto 373m, dominates the scenery and is a popular spot for hiking.
The local beach is just 20 minutes drive away at Les Issambres and is great for families. There are plenty of other beaches close by and having a car makes getting around much easier. If you want to rub shoulders with some celebrities, you can head to Sainte Maxime and take the ferry to St Tropez.
