Quiberon villa holidays, Brittany Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes to rent in Quiberon

Quiberon is a town on a spectacular peninsula which juts out into the sea for 14km and is just 22m wide at its narrowest point. It is found on the southern coast of the Finistère region of western Brittany and has a charming rugged coastline, sweeping sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. The western side of Quiberon is known as the 'Cote Sauvage' (wild coast) due to its bracing winds. The beaches attract sand-yachters, surfers and horse riding is also popular here. It is a lovely area for walking, cycling and for nature lovers. However, if you prefer a more sheltered beach these are found around Saint-Pierre-Quiberon in the south, and is therefore a great holiday destination as there is something to suit everyone.

The picturesque villages of Quiberon are well worth a visit. They have a rich cultural history to explore, pretty white washed houses and clusters of granite or blue-and-white-painted fishermen’s cottages which are typical to this region. Saint-Pierre-Quiberon is main village, and is the perfect place to meander through the streets to view the local shops, art galleries and interior boutiques. Here one is spoilt for choice with the array of fish resturants which fill the streets.
