Pernera is a beautiful quiet harbour town which is a wonderful place for families and couples to holiday. It has some lovely golden sandy beaches and coves to relax on like Louma Bay Beach, Polyxenia, Marlita and Pernera Beach which is one of the nicest you can find on the eastern coast of Cyprus. From here you can do some diving to the Zenobia wreck which is one of the worlds top wreck diving sites.
The town is situated between Protaras and the village of Kapparis, and it is often combined with Protaras as there is no distinction where one ends and the other begins. There is a beach front walkway which connects them together and it is a great place to enjoy a walk and take in the views along the coast. Paralimni is Protaras's main town which is a traditional village with the benefits of a contemporary town.
