The beach of Mijas, Playa la Cala de Mijas is known for being one of the best along the Costa del Sol with a long, wide promenade lined with plenty of beach bars & restaurants perfect to watch a sunset from.

Mijas is a truly stunning and chic destination for a family holiday or romantic escape. With the spectacluar backdrop of the Sierra de Mijas, beautiful vistas are everywhere from its elevated position down to its white sandy beaches running into the turquoise Mediterranean Sea.
There is something for everyone with interesting places to visit and fabulous shopping in the numerous designer outlets. With excellent resturants and night life that would rival the most cosmopolitan cities, its difficult not to have a great time in Mijas. Whilst on your holidays in Mijas, you may want to visit some of the other nearby beach resorts such as Puerto Banus, Estepona and Gibraltar.
