Once a sleepy fishing village, Los Cristianos is now a vibrant beach resort on Tenerife's south coast and is the main port town on this side of the island, full of yachts and glass bottom boats.
The town is fronted by a long promenade that is lined with authentic taps bars, restaurants and shops and is where most of the laid-back evening entertainment takes place. One block back and you enter the pedestrianised shopping streets of Los Cristianos with a blend of luxury boutiques and air conditioned malls.
There are 2 beaches in the resort - Los Cristianos Beach with its golden sand is the one thats best for swimming as the waters are protected by the pier. On the other side of the harbour you'll find Playa de las Vistas which is the place to go for watersports such as windsurfing. Both beaches have promenade bars and restaurants and are within walking distance of the beachfront apartments.
