Llançà is a traditional pretty small village surrounded by the nature park of Cap de Creus and the Albera hills on the rugged yet beautiful coast of Costa Brava. Llançà has a good selection of small coves and quiet beaches along it's 7km coastline and because this stretch of coastline is not as rugged as some spots along the Costa Brava, there are no hairpin bends from the clifftops to navigate.
The port area is flanked by Passeig Marítim — a modern promenade that stretches the length of Playa del Port in front of the town and where you’ll find many shops and restaurants.
