Popular with families, Fornells is an old fishing village in an idyllic bay in the North of Menorca. If you are keen on sailing then this is one of the best places on the island to come to with a great marina and awesome sailing conditions, it is one of the biggest natural harbours on the island at 5km wide and 2km deep with many beaches dotted around. In this natural harbour there is also an island called Las Sargantanes where the English built a fort. There are many marina restaurants, bars and cafés offering specialities such as the famous Menorcan lobster stew which is well worth trying. Fornells is very pretty, even inspiring several artists and offers everyone something from beaches, culture, cuisine and a bit of nightlife although this is definitely more of a family friendly location.

The scenery here in Fornells is spectacular, with a large harbour and white washed old houses dotted around and then the beaches and boats it makes for a fantastic scene.
