Corfu Town, also known as Korkyra, is the capital of Corfu. Full of charm and history it is known as one of the most romantic places in Greece. The old town is a certified UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a port town, which sits halfway along on the east coast, giving easy access to the rest of the island. The newer part of the town is the more commercial, compared with the other resorts.
