Can Picafort is a buzzing resort located in the large bay of Alcudia, originally a little fishing village it has developed into a significant and very popular resort with a focus on its fabulous beach and facilities. There are many shops, restaurants, bars & cafés as well as a whole host of water sports and activities on offer, Can Picafort is a great family holiday destination. The main beach at Can Picafort can get incredibly busy in peak season however the slightly quieter beach of Platja de Muro which has sand dunes and is stunning is nearby to get away from the crowds.

The shopping in Can Picafort consists mainly of souvenir and gift shops however there is a lively market every Friday which is well worth visiting and taking in some of the cafés at the same time. There are many activities in Can Picafort such as karting, pedalos, jet ski, sailing & inflatable rides. There is also a rich history here with the area dating back to the Bronze age with several relics of this era.
