Calvia is located in the south west of Mallorca in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, only 20 mins from Palma airport. A few miles away you can see the famous resort of Magaluf. Calvia has managed to maintain its old world charm and although now has a modern infrastructure with supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants it is also a pretty place to visit and spend your holidays. With lovely beaches and surrounded by trees this is a lovely tranquil place and hard to imagine you are so close to the lively Magaluf!

Nightlife in Calvia

Calvia is certainly not as lively as Magaluf but that is also its appeal, with lovely restaurants offering local specialities and bars this is a great place to spend your evenings. falls into the luxury marina category and so has lovely al fresco dining restaurants and late night bars with the odd nightclub to keep those that wish to party late into the night and following morning happy. Although, not a big town there is plenty to keep most happy in terms of entertainment during the day and when it gets dark.

Calvia beaches

There are several beaches in the vicinity of Calvia however being dominated by a marina they are a little up and down the coast including Cala Marmassen and Cala Blanca both circa 2 kms from Port d'Andratx. There are many more a bit further away such as Cala en Cranc and Cala Llamp.
