The main town is Supetar with its horseshoe-shaped beach and this is where you can take the 50 minute ferry ride to Split on the mainland. The other main tourist hub is the bustling resort of Bol and home to the most famous beach on the island, Zlatni Rat beach. It is a magnet for tourist with the crystal clear waters and the golden sandy beach stretching out into the sea for 1 km.
