Jutland is a huge region, covering 70% of the land mass of Denmark and has a population of 2.5 million people. The main lanuage spoken is Danish with english & German as a second lanuage. The region has many beautiful & interesting cities, like Aalborg, Aarhus which is Jutlands unofficial capital, Billund home to the regions main airport and known as home to the first Legoland park. Stretching from the German boarder to the Scandinavian coast, Jutland is the only part of Denmark which connects to Europe. The region a mainly flat, its coasts made up of long, wide sandy beaches and pretty coves. Laeso island in Kattegat is one of the regions main beach resorts known for its relaxing atmosphere and stunning beaches. The food is excellent especially if you enjoy fresh fish and seafood. Other popular dishes are Stegt flaesk, a pork & vegetables dish, freshly made rye bread to be washed down with locally brewed beer or wine.

Jutland is easily accessible with Billund's modern International airport providing short transfers to many popular resorts or by ferry in Esbjerg in the west of Jutland, Denmarks main port.
