The villa is set in a context of Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by vineyards and century-old citrus trees, and is about 200 metres from the beach of Madonna Delle Grazie, a pretty, small beach characterised by gravel mixed with sand where in the evening you can admire magnificent sunsets over the Stella Gulf. Also on foot you can reach the beautiful coastline, where there are small bays and coves where you can relax in tranquillity.
It is such a peaceful place that in the 18th century, this location was chosen as a refuge for Augustinian monks returning from the Island of Montecristo, and for the hospitality they received, they erected the sanctuary where inside there is a very valuable table of which it is said that the draft design belonged to Michelangelo Buonarroti.
