Description

Campolungo - a former wine-growing estate with medieval origins is located in the heart of Chianti classico between Greve and Radda. In the middle of a silver olive grove, surrounded by vineyards. Here you can experience Tuscany with all your senses and let your gaze wander over the hills of Chianti, over shining broom, red poppies and the traditional purple lilies. And if you brush against our rosemary hedges, you'll feel like you're in paradise.

CampoLungo belongs to the village of Lamole. It is located near Greve, the capital of Chianti, on the famous Strada del Vino. From Greve, a road leads up to the hamlet of Lamole - known for its magnificent views over the Chianti hills. Lamole can be reached on foot from the house in 5 minutes. There is a cosy and really good restaurant with a bar and a small grocery shop. CampoLungo, despite its uniquely quiet location in the middle of vineyards and olive groves, is only a short distance from: Greve approx. 15 minutes, Florence approx. 45 minutes, Siena approx. 50 minutes, airport approx. 60 minutes.

The flat "il Lungo" can be reached via an outside staircase from the piazza. All rooms in this charming part of the house are generously laid out on one level. Modern renovation is combined with tradition. The living room is open to the eat-in kitchen. In the kitchen there is a modern cooking island, a dining table and an old fireplace. The living room is very spacious with an additional table and cosy seating area. The 2 bedrooms face west and are rather cool in summer. The seating area for private use is very sunny and is located in the garden behind the house. The surrounding area of Campolungo is a fragrant and flowering garden. The pool measures 8 x 12 metres and is surrounded by roses and oleanders.
