The residence is in Oia on the island of Santorini. The exceptional location, which is also an orientation point on the island, offers a fairytale atmosphere.

High ceilings, traditional neo-classical architecture, fluid lines, colours, carefully selected furniture are all designed to lend a royal style, so that guests will feel at home. The living room with the reception room and the captain’s study is elegantly decorated, with details on the ceilings and warm colours. There is antique furniture such as the captain’s desk, a typewriter, a chair with blue fabric and the portrait of Loucas Nomicos (1st descendent) from the golden era. A printer and wireless Internet access are available here. The dining room features a royal style and is conveniently in the middle of the living room. The furniture, the Georgian chandelier, the handmade cupboard and the mirror made of Venetian wood, the big dining table for up to ten people, the elegant beige wall and the vaulted ceilings exude a majestic atmosphere of past times. The living room is also an elegant room with a high vaulted ceiling, beige textured walls, real wooden floors and a big Venetian mirror. It is cosily and comfortably furnished, with a homely feeling. A 42” flatscreen TV with cable channels and a home cinema system with an Ipod connection and DVD player is provided. The bedrooms are generous, featuring a simple style with clear lines, combining tradition and modernity. The four bedrooms are named after family members and can accommodate up to eight people. There are four double beds, or three double beds and two single beds, or two double beds and four single beds. The kitchen is another gem of the villa. The spacious room with original tiles and an elegant door in Cycladian blue with wrought iron take you back to past times, while the modern appliances including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, espresso machine and other utensils bring you back to the present day. The kitchen is right next to the two courtyards and the terrace.

The villa is an authentic captain’s house with a wonderful ambience: an adorned facade, vaulted ceiling, antique chandeliers, handmade oak flooring with stripes of different sizes, rare antique furniture and Venetian windows.

The outdoor area with a terrace offers an unobstructed view, at the highest point of the village on the caldera, of the surrounding islands with rich colours, the reflection of evening lights in the water, the unique Cycladian architecture with the little white houses on the edge of the cliffs. This terrace will exceed your expectations. Enjoy dining and a drink and relax with this breathtaking view. Another highlight is the whirlpool outdoors with a relaxation corner on the terrace, with a wonderful view. In front of the house there is a traditional courtyard with a wonderful panoramic view. It has traditional pebbled ground and a big wooden table with plenty of space for dining together and for children to play. The interior courtyard in the traditional style of the island, with tasteful architecture, is a wonderful part of the villa. The harmonious interplay of earthy colours and terracotta, the sofa and the white table provide an ideal setting for reading, playing cards or dining. The Aegean balcony affords a great view of the islands and cruise ships. No matter what the occasion is, a wedding planner can help arrange festivities, either alone as a couple or with family and friends.

The basement has a bedroom and a bathroom, where service personnel can also be accommodated, or it can be used as a storage space for luggage. The four bedrooms provide beds, mattresses etc. made by Coco-Mat International, so you can get a well-deserved good night’s sleep. All the rooms have air conditioning, central heating and wireless Internet access. On the ground floor there is the captain’s bedroom with a kingsize bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom, as well as a veranda. Then there is the Myrtalis bedroom by the interior courtyard with terracotta flooring, white textured walls, a kingsize bed, a spacious wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have direct access to the first floor and the terrace. On the first floor there is the Yvonne bedroom with a high ceiling, a built-in bed, textured white walls and its own balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding islands. On this floor there is also the Nicoletta bedroom with a kingsize bed, a spacious wardrobe and two big windows, allowing plenty of daylight in and affording a view of the interior courtyard. From these two bedrooms it is only a few steps to the lovely terrace. The bedrooms share a bathroom with a skylight.
